Hailing from a town just east of London who's main claim to fame is that the Romans chose to make it their first capital, David Nevard was immersed in music from an early age. Surrounded by three elder sisters he was swamped in a wide range of musical influence. Bowie, T-rex, The Stones, Elvis, The Beatles and Motown classics reverberated around the house, which they played on a thing called"a record player".
As he grew up he thought Colchester was the capital of the Indie Pop sound and rushed to see as many bands as possible at the Piccalo Pardre and Oliver Twist; two dark and gloomy pubs which echoed with beautiful music.
He soon started to write his own music capturing the world that he knew in melody and words.
A versatile songwriter, his songs cross many genre's ranging from the soulful jazz feel of "Something strange" to the r'n'b pop of "My sensation" through ballads such as "Hidden in our love" and the celtic twist of "Perfect guy".
