Born in Texas, Dave Shaffer began playing guitar at the age of seven, solely at the fault of Chuck Berry; other instruments followed as well. His influences have ranged deeply since. From deep rooted Blues to every word worth remembering that Rock-n-Roll had and still has to offer. Learning by ear, his teachers came straight off the needle and into his soul, opening his eyes to the boundless world of music. Since the age of thirteen he's been burning his word of Rock-n-Roll and rhythm n' blues from countless stages, bars, clubs, and roadhouses across the great state of Texas. His own personal tribulations led and left him into the Rocky mountains, where his desperation to live struggled between conflicts within and peace of mind. Translating these revelations into words and melodies, he was able to find the very thing that had embodied this power named Rock-n-Roll.
