Dave Mason is a Composer, Pianist and Bass player now writing music in his retirement. He played Clarinet and String Bass with the Royal Signals Band and studied at the Royal Military School of Music Kneller Hall. In 1970 he moved to Durham, and taught at Middleton St. George Teacher Training College. In 1974 he took up a position with Argyll and Bute Education Authority to teach Woodwind and Brass and formed the Oban High School Wind Band which made several recordings and toured in Europe many times, mainly Germany and Spain. During this time he also played with several Broadcasting Bands. He is still enjoying playing piano for the tourists in the Royal Hotel Scottish Show in Oban. Dave released his first solo CD in February 2011. "Sounds of the Orient" can be found on the Red Admiral label and most download sites. Dave has recently got his own web site - www.davemasonmusic.co.uk.

I love Ray's Rumba. So refreshing to hear stuff like this .As I learned alot of stuff when I was playing accordion when I was 9 to 17 years old.Very Cool.
