Bruce A. Brown, Cudlino (Cud-Lee-Noh) was born, and mostly raised, in San Diego, CA on August 21st, 1988. From the day he was born, Cudlino grew up loving music and everything about it. Living with his single mother, who moved around a lot, he also partially grew up in Cleveland, OH and Eau Claire, WI. This helped him build character, understand people better, and eventually increase versatility.
Cudlino is an independent Hip-Hop/Rap/R&B artist, Founder/CEO of his own indie label (Bear Klan Entertainment), and a member of ASCAP. He's been writing songs ever since he was 12, but only has been recording for 2½ years. Using distinct signatures, like "All Day!", "Lino!", "Yezzir!", "Gotta-Gettit!", "Yeadat!", and "AaaHaa!", folks are loving his songs and can't keep them out of their heads! Cudlino is the future of hip hop, with his West Coast Sway/Dirty South Swagga sound, unique flow, originality, and lyrical comedy. He has a large online presence, and is working on increasing his local buzz.
Recently he is under a promotional deal with Slip-N-Slide Records, which is called Slip-N-Slide On Da Grind, and can result in the recording contract that he's been working hard for. Cudlino has lived through a lot of strife in his life, but is constantly fighting through the struggle.
