Race Against Time
Artist: Jeff Steinman

As a serious trumpet player and drummer, Jeff Steinman started his college career as a music major at California State University Northridge in 1976, but soon switched majors to computer science and physics. He received a Ph.D. in high energy physics from UCLA in 1988, and has since pioneered technologies that allow complex simulations to run on large numbers of computers. Jeff Steinman resumed his music career in 1990 using MIDI devices and computer-based sequencer tools. This has resulted in more than 100 compositions of a wide variety of styles. Jeff Steinman likes to apply his brass and percussion background to big band music styles, but has also written classical, pop, gospel, smooth jazz, and others including two marches, a polka, and TV theme songs. Jeff Steinman currently produces most of his compositions in Propellerhead's REASON 3.0.

Artist: Dig Bear

Dig Bear (aka Urs Lotze) started playing guitar at age of 12. Former lead singer and lead guitar with his own band, he toured and had single release in Europe. Other activities: Studio session guitar (for platinum winning songwriter - Universal), live session guitar with drummer Kenny Martin (Defunkt) and bassist Max Hughes (Chaka Khan) among others. Producer and music composer for documentary film music (for Swiss national TV). Urs is now songwriting, producing, programming and playing all instruments (exept bass) on the Dig Bear project. Dig Bear is USA MakeAstar 2004 songwriter contest winner with "Feel It". Most of Dig Bear's songs listed made it into Top10 at Broadjam. Best rankings: #2 earth, #1 Electro-Dance, #1 R&B, #1 R&B contemporary, #1 R&B funk. Singer Kat Blu: UK Garage hit with "Do It Again", Live and studio sessions in the US and around the world. Lead singer and dancer for the "History of Soul Music" show in Europe.
