Wanted to thank you for the honest feedback in your review. I think you're right about the vocal content. In many ways it changed the production to its own tune, my only regret is that I didn't polish it more than my tools at the time allowed. Every artist has their own sound. Sometimes I just let performers have their way with my underscores and let it go to the universe. If I could, I would love to get that artist into a professional studio for solid takes. I think with the right engineer, she could deliver some wicked etherial stuff. N
The production is there man! After polishing, its a banger! I feel you on the uniqueness of artists, as that is probably an engineer/producers biggest challenge! Take it only as constructive criticism. You are on the right path. Perhaps all you need is a remix and remaster... The content isn't lacking, but the quality could slightly improve! I do remixing to if interested. My experience is primarily in professional recording and mixing. Either way, keep it up!
