Hi Sebastien,
Just listened to your song "Tears in the Sea" and loved it!
Such touching lyrics! And though the song has a sad feeling to it, the lyric is somehow hopeful.
Your voice and the arrangement are perfect for the song, as well (assuming that's you singing)!
Brilliant!

Hi Michael,

Your compliment made my day. Thanks a lot! It makes me even happier that English is not my native language. I'm just a French songwriter trying to do my best while putting words on my melodies, and it's not always perfect I must say. The feelings you describe sound like the ones I wanted to convey. So, I feel like fulfilled.. And yes, to answer your question: that's my voice, lyrics, and arrangements. Thank you once again Michael for your very nice words.
I like a lot the song "Michelangelo" !!

Hi Michael, Thank you so much for your review of "Only Human" as well as your comments sent afterwards. You were so thorough on your review, and I totally agree with you on the instrumentation and recording quality. I actually have a beautiful piano track recorded in a studio just waiting for the vocal track, but quite frankly I'm chicken.

I truly appreciate the time you took to provide your extremely helpful feedback. Your song Michelangelo is lovely.

All my best to you,
~d

Dianne,
Noooo... Don't be chicken! The vocal and lyrics were, by far, the best things about that recording. I think you'll find inspiration in that piano part and sing it even more beautifully (and confidently) than before!
Best of luck with it and thanks for listening to my song... :0)

Hi Dianne,
I just did a review of your song 'Only human". After hitting "submit" of course I was able to see your bio information and check out the printed song lyrics.
I was unable to get the full meaning of the song because I couldn't make out all the lyrics but, now it's obvious that I misinterpreted the subject matter. So please disregard that part about the "hook" line. It makes perfect sense in the context of a song about death - you really were powerless to do anything about it. I regret that that interpretation didn't occur to me, and that you had to find yourself in a position to write that song...
Best regards,

Thank you again, Michael. Shawn Colvin is one of my favorite singers, so thank you for the comparison!

I just listened to the rest of your songs...
How interesting that I recognized three of them from the peer reviews - "Hold out", "Mercy" and "Summary". All songs that I rated highly, BTW.
Where do I buy the album?!

Hello Michael, thanks for your comments. You can find them on i-Tunes. You should search for 'Nona Mez', album titles: 'Radio Rain & Hard Luck Stories' and 'Out of Touch'. If I'm not mistaken these two albums are available on i-Tunes USA.

Hello Geert,

Just heard your song "Words by numbers" in a peer review. Wow! What a cool song! The arrangement is lush and hypnotic while the lyrics are wonderfully poignant and yet detached at the same time.
I'm off to listen to the others now, but I will definitely buy that song if it's for sale...
