For sure brother... Music is personal to the people that make it, and much like finding a great partner or good friends, it takes time to build a fanbase that will love it as much as you do. The worst thing any of us can do is sabotage ourselves by allowing the negative to consume the air that surrounds our work. Just do what you love and screw anyone that doesn't support it. Regarding the reviews... You'll get some that you agree with and others that you don't. Just play it cool, learn what you can from what they offer you, and move on. Rome wasn't built overnight... and neither is a successful music career:) Good luck and best wishes! N

'Jonesy' is basically right! That said, please read my comments above directed to Le Var on the 'Elster" instance...Broadjam could easily upgrade and professionalize the review and other components of their sight.......but after many talks with Jesse, a guy that I really like(!) and suggestions, it's fairly clear to me that quantity of membership rules over quality....it could be easily fixed, but b-jam prefers LOTS of members, lately mainly hip-hoppers with little or no music education, who walk on 'equal ground' with accomplished musicians....oil & water......never the twain shall meet!
Good effort on reviewing such an old song Its hilarious when people critique it like its as current as everyone else. Oh your stuff.....not bad! keep working on it and you'll get better Oh and if you can't beat em join em...heh heh thats cute...heres one for you... Since sheep follow the leader what if the leader fell off a cliff, what do you think the other sheep will do. You should think about whether you are confident and creative enough to create something out of the box that people will learn to like since people are told what to like...understand what I mean? A true artist creates from inspiration and not controlled by what everyone else is doing. Everybody likes food...but not the same food every single day...and behold that is how the radio is today.
