I'm down in Phoenix, having moved from
Seattle. Long sto'ry. Not much music here.
So far, I've put out 9 CD's, some of them pretty good. Lik'e everyone else, I'm looking for that resonance to life that produces great music. Beauty and Truth- forget the rest, as Dizzy Gilespie said. I've
done my jazz phase, my rock phase, folk phase, and blues phase, now I'm looking for that shortcut to what's never been done
before. I'm depending on the great artists
at Broadjam to let me know if I've hit the
mark. My Mantra: Life's too short to drink
cheap wine.

Another concert at Carnegie Hall- I really must show up one of these times. I always seem to be busy with personal needs, like
blocking out the known universe with derivatives of natural substances. The old
joke said, "Practice, man, practice!" to get to New York's finest venue, so I do a lot of that, but as Paul Desmond said,
"I used to practice, but it made me play too fast."
