Red Embers

In a pine-paneled basement in the winter of 2000, with an audience of two golden retrievers, Red Embers got their start. And even before their songs began to mesh, they had a sense of what they wanted to be - a band of spirit and passion that assigned meaning to their music.

Red Embers grew. They are at times a hard and wailing and then suddenly, slow and haunting foursome. They continue to garner intensity by trying to bring fresh sounds and ideas to the world of alternative rock.

Press from a recent show praised the band as having a "fresh sound" with "quality lyrics and good musicianship which will help them stand out . . ." (The Recorder - Central Connecticut State University).

Red Embers is:
Bill Sweeney - vocals
Chris Roehl - guitar
Chris Boorman - bass
Bill Muskett - drums

Not an act in and of itself, but for something higher. Red Embers are ablaze.

Red Embers' self-titled debut EP premiered in the Spring of 2002.
