Cavin began studying classical music in the early 90’s to satisfy his musical desires and artistic growth. Throughout the years, he had also been strongly influenced by pop culture including rock and roll, hip hop, and folk music. During the next ten years, Cavin continued to write and develop songs, but his life and career would keep his gift of songwriting on hold to the rest of the world.
In early 2004 Cavin teamed up with producer/guitarist Mark Day to begin work on his long awaited solo project. Independent record label, Worldwide Records, quickly picked up the project and set the wheels in motion for Cavin’s debut album due out in the spring of 2005.

Cavin and Mark immediately added Rex Markel on drums and Larry Betancourt on bass to complete Cavin’s recording and touring band Da Bones. Together, Cavin & Da Bones unleash a fierce and dynamic performance that captivates the audience from the first chord strummed and not relenting until the very last note is played.
