Carey is a musician and composer who runs HummingBird Studios in Calgary. As a performer Carey has played guitar many years in a variety of bands, duos and theatre ensembles. As a composer his experience producing music spans a diversity of projects including feature length film, TV drama, documentaries, and commercials.

He is pleased to announce the release of his latest album "Evening Light". Evening Light is a meditative instrumental album featuring finger-style guitar textured with rich layers of ambient background music. 
Carey's previous release "NightBird", is his first album of all original songs. The penning of the songs spans several decades, exploring the many journeys of the heart. He also has two other relaxing instrumental albums "Mirage" and "Passages" recorded with guitarist William (Bill) Wilton under the duo name of WilliamCarey.
