The voice of Cara Jones is well known in Japan and, increasingly, around the world. Born in Philadelphia, After completing a degree in Japanese at Harvard, she found herself in Tokyo placing songs, making albums, and touring. While there she released three albums for major labels: "Different Skies", "Pandora's Box", and "NOW".
Sales of Cara Jones albums and songs topped 1.2 million copies combined by 2000. Credits include cuts for major Japanese artists, writing and performing on internationally-released Playstation and Sega game soundtracks and anime, and countless commercial songs. She has recorded albums with the MARY BLACK band, members of SOLAS, and former touring members of the CHIEFTANS.
