Born and raised in New York City, Susannah Blinkoff is a second-generation singer-songwriter. Her mother Carol Hall recorded two albums for Elektra between 1970-73, opened for Kris Kristofferson and Don McLean ("American Pie” tour) and is the composer/lyricist of the Broadway hit THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE IN TEXAS. Susannah began singing professionally when she was in eighth grade. First an actress, she appeared in TV movies, sitcoms and on Broadway in THE BEST LITTLE WHOREHOUSE GOES PUBLIC, singing on the cast album. She then became a published playwright and screenwriter, co-writing the film BELLYFRUIT which premiered at the L. A. Independent Film Festival and ran on Showtime. She also wrote and produced the film’s opening title theme song with Stephen Bray (Madonna, Meredith Brooks). Susannah has an award-winning script in development and is writing an original movie musical. She sings in the upcoming feature film LITTLE MANHATTAN and performs in L.A. with her band CAMP SUSANNAH.
