For the last 10 years, Bridget has performed her original smooth jazz renditions and standards in southern California venues, including gigs with Grammy nominated pianist Tom Barabas at G5-Geoge's on Fifth in San Diego's Gaslamp district. Her first CD, Make it Real, was released in 2004 and features her sultry and clear smooth jazz style. The CD includes 8 originals, one of her own songs, "Be My Artist," and standards by Herbie Hancock, and others. Bridget began writing lyrics to the haunting melodies created by Los Angeles pianist Garry Galloway. Their relaxing, contemplative songs have been compared to those created by the famous songwriting team of Alan and Marilyn Bergman. "Never Far Away," one of the original songs on the CD, was written for the troops serving abroad and their familes. In December 2004, Bridget shipped some of her CDs to the troops in Iraq, as a Christmas gift. She is currently completing two new original songs and will release a CD single this spring.
