BLIND PUPPIES brings back Stiv Bators and a distinctive sound between The Smithereens and Blind Melon. Hailing from the back yards of Austin Texas, BLIND PUPPIES hit Austin's stage seven months ago in a flurry of appearances that drew crowds to witness their well-blended vocals, playing, and showmanship.

BLIND PUPPIES proved themselves in a match against 7 other bands in the famous Antones Battle of the Bands in Austin TX. Wowing the crowd and judges alike, BLIND PUPPIES went on to win the grand prize in the battle. The band's latest CD, Power & Equality, blends Bob Handley's raw and gritty vocal lyrics with edgy guitar mastery to turn out a disc already showing appeal to a wide diverse audience. With standout tracks like "Do Ya," and "Say Ahhh", BLIND PUPPIES is counting on loads of future success.

BLIND PUPPIES is a fast and gritty four piece band. Raw and energetic, the band was originally put together by brothers Bob and Brent. The brothers later rounded out their sound with Grubbs and CC. Turn it up and get ready to enjoy the boundless energy of this dynamic group.

VOCALS/GUITAR: Robert Handley is the BLIND PUPPIES front man, singing and playing guitar. Hailing from a small town in Michigan, he spent time in Detroit and Philadelphia before moving to Austin and using some of his old acoustic songs to start up the BLIND PUPPIES with his brother (Brent) and friends.

DRUMS: Brent Handley moved to Austin with his brother (Robert) in the summer of 2004. He comes from a musical family but didn't pick up a guitar until he was 19. Finally, after years of wanting to play drums he bought a kit approximately 2 years ago and has been playing with BLIND PUPPIES ever since.

BASS: CC Colon came to Austin for the music scene and has played in Austin for 13 years. CC started her musical career on clarinet, then guitar, and even played keyboards for a time before falling in love with the bass guitar. Originally from New Hampshire, and a after a lot of time traveling, including overseas, she now calls Austin home and looks forward to a career with BLIND PUPPIES.

LEAD GUITAR: William Grubb brings a wide variety of guitar styles to the BLIND PUPPIES. With over 35 years of performing with rock bands, Grubb's arsenal of guitar licks is extensive. From funk to punk and everything in between, Grubb lays it down with the BLIND PUPPIES.
