Becca graduated from Cornish in Seattle, Washington with a degree in vocal performance and a BFA in jazz music theory and composition. In 1999-2000 she took the PNW Film Scoring program with Hummie Mann and in 2004 completed her certifications as a Protools recording engineer.

Becca writes original lyrics and music in a variety of genres. She has collaborated on dozens of songs and in 2004 was pleased to have one of her collaborations "Of This World" released by Peter, Paul and Mary.
