Awestruck

The young men of Awestruck have all the makings of an epic rock movie.

From the trials and tribulations of living and working together, to the hassles of everyday life all hoping to put an end to the four-piece, it's been a long road.. but for Conner Lucas, John McKinnon, Joan Nieves and Gavin Shea, traffic jams and pile-ups won't see them halted and, with ten years under their belt, Awestruck is really just getting started..

Despite Orlando's many live venues and the heavy saturation of rock bands accompanying them, Awestruck has successfully made a name for themselves. The four may seem soft-spoken yet passionate about their love of music, but not one person could deem them wallflowers. With their hard-hitting rock songs, they've achieved a drone of fans, live shows that have blown the power in venues, and promotion that nearly got them arrested for plastering the city with their signature ninja-balloons. With countless shows performed across their home-state of Florida, a full-length album already released and an expanding fan-base, Awestruck is setting it's sights on success.

After ten years, however, it is always important to re-evaluate..

Together, they've been through high school, college, break-ups, breakdowns and newly, the realization of growing up. And after years of looking ahead, they have decided to take a glance back at the decade behind them..

"With all the changes in the industry, we've been forced to change our approach. In turn, we've focused on our foundations and why we became a band in the first place.. to make sure it remains fun and fulfilling for each of us. We don't want to lose sight of our individuality and want to be a successful band, but life has been good to us so far (even when it hasn't been) and we like that. We're comfortable where we are and we're enjoying the freedoms we have."

And with that, Awestruck takes a piece of it's past with it into the future, and the success that's sure to complement it.
