I am a singer/songwriter that has been in two highly successful Midwestern Rock bands....Inner Sanctum and Muzzy Luctin. I'm now doing a solo acoustic endeavor and am in the process of recording new material. My lyrics tend to be insightful, poignant, and introspective. I also feel myself slowly being drawn toward Christian Rock, as I am born-again.

A brief overview

Ken Thrift is a singer/ songwriter based out of Madison, Wi, USA. Originally from San Jose, Ca, Ken Thrift first started playing trumpet in band and then picked up guitar. Piano and percussion came shortly thereafter. Ken has been in two successful local/regional bands: INNER SANCTUM and MUZZY LUCTIN. Countless appearances on 94.1 WJJO, showcase trips to New York City, one of the top ten best unsigned bands of 2005 (ROCK HARD magazine, Germany), 2004 Best Rock Artist (MUZZY LUCTIN), MAMA'S (Madison Area Music Awards),Madison, Wi.); just a few items to mention.
