I have a collection of songs that i've being holding close to my chest 'cos the business over this side of the pond is not interested: yet. I may be old but I'll keep the faith and play on acoustic, electric and slide until someone throws a coin into the cap.

Bio

Born and raised in Birmingham, England, Alan J Ingram stated playing guitar and harmonica back in 1963 after hearing The Beatles ' From Me to You'. Graduating to 12 string a little later and learning more about blues and folk, Alan started to write his own songs at the age of 16, some of which he still plays. After gigging around school and college, academia and marriage called and it wasn't until 1990 that music took over his life again and he became a karaoke DJ for 3 years. Playing with the band ifitFits since 1994, Alan still writes upbeat rock with jazz, latin and country overtones, usually with too many chords, but with a unique feel .
