In 2001 I sustained a severe head injury estimated to be the equivalent to a 65mph blow to the head. Along with the negative effects there was appositive effect. That is the gift of creating music. I write in many different genres ranging from Ambient Instrumentals to Electronica Dance type music. I don't do any Rap or Hip Hop. I have 3 CDs available at many locations including iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, etc. At this point in time there is only one member of THE PETER RAS BAND and that's me Peter Rasmussen. I write, play, sing, arrange, record, produce, etc. everything. Everything is recorded live with no editing on a regular cd burner taken off of my PA system's output. On a worldwide competition site I have received top 40 status for several of my songs for 8 months. That's worldwide. I have been awarded 14 platinum Auddy Awards and one gold on UPLAYA.COM.
