Sophia Dion is 12 years old and a singer and songwriter, born and raised in Park City, UT. Sophia developed a passion for music at a very young age; she started singing at the age of 3 and performing at age 7. At age 10, Sophia began taking guitar lessons and knew immediately it was her instrument of choice. Musically inclined, she also plays stand up bass, piano, and ukulele.
While in Nashville Sophia was discoverd by the owner Bedell Guitars whom immediately recognized Sophia's talents, and signed her to a performing artist deal, a privilege usually reserved for much more experienced musicians!
Her musical influences are KT Tunstall, Ingrid Michaelson, and Sara Bareilles. Her dream is to travel the world, tour with amazing musicians and hopefully be signed by a label and so she can be an inspiration to other young and up and coming musicians.
Sophia has a gift way beyond her years!
