In February 2024, MindFree was honored to sign as an artist with the VRY publishing company. MindFree began with two kindergarten friends Mark Abbruzzese (guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Keith Walsh (keys and bass synth). Our indie eclectic sound pulls from rock, prog, punk, metal and r&b, MindFree was born. We added permanent drummer Ric Rosario in 2021. While our recording engineer and dear friend Cirilo Rios, played bass for us until we recently found our permanent bassist in January 2024, Curtis Ortega. In recent months, Keith has moved onto to focus on his solo project, and we have added Vince Insalcoon guitar and keyboard. The band practices and records in Hollywood, California. Since forming, MindFree has played clubs (Viper Room, El Cid, Molly Malones, Rockefellas, Federal Bar, The Doll Hut)all around SoCal, including Electric Summer Fest w/ Kottonmouth Kings. MindFree is presently working on our 2nd album, which will be out this Summer 2024. Also, our video for Sky Blue

MindFree's 2021 debut album is an eclectic work, hard and soft melodic and sincere. Our video for our song Sky Blue is doing well on youtube and tik-tok and our songs are featured on several Spotify playlists. We are currently working on our 2nd album and getting ready to play the Electric Summer Fest opening for Kottonmouth Kings.
