Laine began her musical at a very young age on the piano. She attended college for music performance and music industry, at which time she also began to perform in bands around the northeast. Her performances over the years have included music in the rock and country genre. As well as performing in bands, she plays solo piano gigs around the Central New York area, playing jazz, country and rock standards . She has worked with such Central New York notable bands such as Clockwork, Rory O'Moore, Blue Blazes, Lois Lane and the D.C.-3, and Oldfield 5. She has also toured with national recording artists Benny Mardones and Robert Tepper. She, along with songwriting partner, Tim Murray, released their first CD, "Victims of Mankind" in 1991. Since then, Laine has concentrated her efforts on songwriting and arranging. She is well versed in sequencing and does arrangements of music for regional colleges, churches , and other musicians.
