Johnny Zarrow's core is a trio of diverse songwriting talents who craft a high dose of originality and groove. Former road warriors, they've settled into the secure confines of their studio, safe from beer bottle throwing antics and early morning bucket-of-blood departures/escapes.Deborah Morgenstern is a multi-talented singer, songwriter and musician.
She has been performing in Community Theater, small jazz ensembles that include the highly-regarded folk group, Chardonnay, and in a variety of Gospel groups. She has appeared at NYC's Bitter End, Long Island Wineries, and the Riverhead Blues Festival. Deborah also did back-up vocals in Nashville. Upon returning to Long Island, she added new dimensions to various groups, particularly with the rhythm and blues tunes in the repertoire. Now, she is the lead singer in the band Johnny Zarrow.
