Independent Canadian country music recording artist, singer, songwriter and SOCAN member.

Born in Montreal, Canada now resides in Ottawa, Canada.

Started musical journey as a drummer/singer at age 14.

Early years spent playing primarily 60s - 70s rock, with an occasional splash of southern rock and folk.

After 8 years of drumming, finally realizing that nobody helps the drummer tear down and lug equipment, the drumming days were over, taught himself how to play rhythm guitar and the transition to front and center strummer began.

His album, Hammer Down, has garnered some critical acclaim, with multiple tracks released to independent and internet radio worldwide.

Song writing influenced by artists such as John Fogerty, Vern Gosdin, Merle Haggard, Don Williams, The Eagles, Brooks & Dunn and Brad Paisley.

First and foremost, the music is written for you to enjoy.

I'm not a big country music fan, but I really enjoyed listening to your song.

hi Howard and thank you for your review of Texas Romp--you are RIGHT ON in your comments, this is a chop from the original Austin Dove vocal (and full instrumental backing of course), which i used to cut this, so if you have time, you may listen on my page to Austin Dove, and you'll get what i was trying to do...LOL...but again, your comments/scores were good and accurate!! all the best, Warren Hein
