Since her last album Impatient Heart, Heather has been writing and collaborating with her brother in-law Jesse Knudson. They have just finished their first demo as a duo and are already making a stir in the midwest, making their rounds in local clubs and music halls. Their live shows feature a mix of heavy drum loops, melodic guitar riffs (by Jesse), and Heather's angelic vocals. Heather feels "Its more like a collaboration and I like what we've come up with. It's more edge, with a soft side and most of all, it's more me."

Heather Waugh is a 19 year old singer/songwriter that is a bit hard to define, but easy to understand. Combine her unique mix of pop/rock/folk with her unbelievable ability to express herself well beyond her years, and you get to know Heather Waugh. Heather writes all of her own lyrics and music; and collaborates with Producer Rusty Thomas Yanok from The PowerPlant Multimedia Studios (www.thepowerplant.tv) in Columbus, Ohio on production and mix. We've heard female singer/songwriters are 'on the way back in,' we certainly hope so. Some say Heather sounds a bit like Avril, others say Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton...maybe even a Sheryl Crow here and there; but one thing is for sure: Someday, there will be artists saying '...they say I sound a little like Heather Waugh...'

“Having this record finally completed after two years, (or so) means so much to me. It has been my life goal to have my very own album, and it’s so amazing to see it actually happen!! When I listen to the finished music, it makes me feel proud and encouraged that whatever I put my mind to doing, I can accomplish.
My album (to me) is about life, love, broken hearts, waiting and looking forward to what lies ahead. Each song contains a piece of my heart and soul, revealing a new side of me to the world. To me this album is more than just “music”, it’s like a journal of my life written out in music form. This album is more than just melodies, it’s my “heart beat” and what I live for and love doing.”
