Ground Zero is Jake "Jake C" Carlson, and Craig "Adverse" Hewitt. We are a singer/songwriter and production team from Vancouver. Our sound is something totally fresh, bridging the gap between old and new, dubbed "Jazz Funk Hip-Hop Soul".
Our music defies boundaries, but is created with broad, mainstream appeal in mind, and is quickly becoming appreciated by people of all ages. Infectious, addictive grooves combined with some of the catchiest hooks and melodies you will find anywhere; ensure that every track we create leaves a lasting, and positive impression.
Together with local Vancouver legend, Bill Runge, we compose riffs for every instrument under the sun, and have worked with some of the most respected jazz musicians in the city (see album credits), who have all agreed to gig/tour with us under the moniker "The Souled Out Players".
