Bio
Born in N.J., bassist/composer Dave Wilder moved to LA in 1991 after studying for three years in Philadelphia with the late jazz legend Denis Sandole (Teacher of John Coltrane, James Moody, etc). Once in California, he immeadiately started producing and playing live shows with local rap and r&b goups. In 1993, he met some musicians with a similar appreciation for 60's style soul music and funkier rock and roll, and the 2pc was formed. The band accumulated a large following by playing countless live shows, earning spots on the H.O.R.D.E festival tour and opening for Blues Traveller in large theatres.
