~~"Solidify has been bangin around NorCal for the last couple of years and has gotten themselves a pretty loyal following in their area. This quartet is a lively bunch and can be an entertaining band to listen to. It's apparent that there's a good chemistry between the gutarist and the singer. They've got a sound that falls outside metal per se, but it's heavy and dark enough that they can fit in with anyone but the most extreme. By far, "Breaking Point" is their most commerically accessable piece and perhaps the best performed of the night."

Bio

Kristen Wiles ( lead vocalist, lyricist, songwriter)
Born May 19th 1984, Danville Illinois
MUSIC CAREER: Solo work, side projects with local musicians, Guest vocals recorded for the band "Better Left Unsaid".
The band I currently worked in "Solidify" here in Stockton, Ca, began back in March of 2002. We performed many shows all over Ca. recorded a music video for a UOP student that was aired on Public Access, Professionally recorded a 3 song demo @ Studio C here in Stockton, and because of career goal differences, I have decided to venture deeper, as Dan & Rob contemplate their musical goals, looking for like-minded musicians to write, work hard, rehearse often, and do what it takes to get on the road.
Ive recorded guest vocals on the album for local band " Better Left Unsaid", as well as other side projects working in the studio, at home, and am constantly writing.
I can most definatly sing, as I can scream for the right emotional music, theres a melodic structure in the music i can write, harmony, and deep lyrics.
