DK aka Wayne Watts is a national recording hip hop artist on the independent label, Evergreen Music (an associate member of NACA).

DK aka Wayne Watts (now 24 years old) honed his MC skills in his native city of Baltimore, Maryland and has been performing his special brand of hip-hop music since the age of 16.

The summer/fall of 2010 will find DK aka Wayne Watts continuing with a regional and national tour of festivals/ colleges/clubs promoting his new full-length cd & latest mix-tape.

DK aka Wayne Watts showcased at the 2009 NACA Mid Atlantic & Millennium Conferences, 2008 NACA Mid-Atlantic Festival, is featured in a 2008 violence prevention music video, and released two full-length CDs, "That's My Boy" (2003) & "Tha Fire Lane Project-LP" (2009).

"Work That", found on DK aka Wayne Watts' "Tha Firelane Project", is featured on two independent film releases, "The Hollow " (2007) and "Gravity" (2009).

DK aka Wayne Watts is a national recording hip hop artist on the independent label, Evergreen Music (an associate member of NACA).

DK aka Wayne Watts honed his MC skills in his native city of Baltimore, Maryland and at the age of 16 astonished and entertained music executives and fellow hip hop/r&b artists while interning for the 2002 Billboard R&B/Hip Hop Awards and Conference in South Beach Miami, Florida.

The music from DK's first full-length CD "That's My Boy" blasted the airways throughout the
2003 Hip/Hop Conference and the title song was tracked as the #3 most added hip hop single on the CMJ chart for the week of March 10, 2004. "That's My Boy" eventually was added on over 150 college and commercial radio stations in 2004.

From 2003 to 2007, while completing requirements for his BA Degree in Communications,DK aka Wayne Watts performed at various events in the Maryland & DC areas, appearing with Slum Village, The Clipse, Cee-Lo, Raheem DeVaughn, Fertile Ground, Ty Tribbett and The All American Rejects. DK also has appeared as a panelist and performer at various hip hop symposiums sponsored by local colleges and universities.

In March 2008, DK aka Wayne Watts showcased at the NACA (National Association for Campus Activities) Mid-Atlantic Festival where he entertained and amazed over 200 student delegates with intricate urban based beats laced with solid rock guitar riffs while sharing the stage with such acts as Kelly Mac Farland, Fooling April, and Buddy Wakefield.

After a summer of writing and recording, DK aka Wayne Watts has just completed a violence prevention music video, produced by Academy Award winning producer, Susan Hadary and directed by Emmy Award winning director & cinematographer, John Anglim. Look for the track and video to be available every where: You Tube, My Space, PSA's, Ring Tones and Free Downloads on October 14,2008.

The fall and winter of 2008 will find DK aka Wayne Watts embarking on a regional and national tour of festivals, colleges and clubs to promote his latest full-length CD project.
