Breif Bio

"Holiday For Atticus" is a band that formed out of humor and a shared love for music. Alex MacAllister has a vocal and song writing style of punk and alternative rock, which he harnessed in a town just north of Boston called Marblehead. He both loved and hated living there and finally became inspired to pursue music in California after attending a summer session at Berklee School of Music. He was offered an opportunity to pursue a scholarship in Berklee's song writing department, but decided to take his chances in Southern California. Pete Grable grew up in San Diego in an area called El Cajon. Pete always enjoys living life to the fullest by beating his drums to the best punk rock music Southern California has to offer and riding the sand dunes of Superstition Mountain. Drew Webb came to San Diego from New Zealand after obtaining a United States rugby scholarship. But Drew was known more for his legendary riffs and solo's with his style of blues rock on guitar and hopes one day he will have a chance to live a life of music opposed to rough rugby competition and hard labor construction. Johnny Savage came to San Diego for 3 reasons; music, weather and surf. It didn't hurt that the government offered him rent free living in return for working on military submarines in downtown San Diego. After growing up in Vermont and living in rainy Seattle, it could have been any kind of offer, as long as he was playing his bass guitar in the footsteps of his idle "Flea" from the Chili Peppers. When all four of them came together, it was if they've been playing in a band together for years, sharing ideas, improvising jams and putting on shows at bars and house party's that commanded people to yell out for more.
