Founding Producers - Kevin Anderson and Mark Coleman

Bio

Mark Coleman

Working alongside some of the music industry’s biggest names, Mark Coleman has built a solid reputation for creating an unforgettable sound that has appeared on many hit albums, feature films, and television shows. Cultivating his musical education in Philadelphia, Mark started playing the guitar early on and performing with various bands in his hometown. At the young age of 18, Mark got his first professional break when he was asked to tour with legendary R&B group, The Stylistics. Soon thereafter, he began touring with the likes of Patti Labelle, The Movements, and Boyz II Men. Wanting to further his career in the music industry, Mark moved to Los Angeles where he took the opportunity to work with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. He became the Director of A&R for Yab Yum Records where he helped to develop and produce hit recording artist Jon B. The album, Cool Relax, was a commercial success and shot to the top of the R&B charts. Mark further showcased his musical talent when four of his songs were debuted on the hit Showtime television series, “Soul Food”. He has produced a bevy of artists including AZ Yet, Tamia, Adagio, Xtilo, Dave Young, and many others. Mark entered the world of feature films when he was asked to produce and perform on the soundtrack for “The Fighting Temptations” starring Beyonce and Cuba Gooding Jr. Currently, Mark resides in the Los Angeles area where he continues his path of producing and writing music for today’s top talent and new unsigned artists.

Kevin Anderson

Kevin Anderson entered the music world at a very young age, performing and playing in and around his hometown of San Diego, CA. At the age of 19, he was discovered by a record executive from Tommy Boy Records and was offered the opportunity to join an R&B group. Realizing that producing music was his passion, Kevin made the decision to focus behind the scenes and has had success as a prolific producer and songwriter. With several credits under his belt, Kevin has worked with the legendary Brian Holland (Supremes, Four Tops, Marvin Gaye) and his musical production team, Holland-Dozier-Holland. He also took the opportunity to produce new artists signed to A&M Records. Other credits include the movie soundtrack Fair Game, a song placement on the hit TV show South of Nowhere and toy company Mattel, where he was able to create and produce original melodies and songs for television commercials and products. Kevin currently lives in Los Angeles where he is producing and writing music for several up and coming artists and continues to scout for new undiscovered talent.
