Tony Frank- A big man with a bigger smile and an even bigger heart. He's been writing and performing his songs since 1991 and all the best are here on this site. His music can best be described as a combination of Honky Tonk, Country and Country Rock with a little touch of R&B.
At this time I am working at putting together a new band, teaching them my original songs and choosing some covers to add in. We are working on completion of my soon to be finnished CD, "Lucky 13", which will feature songs on this website. It has just been mastered and now we're putting together artwork for the jewel case. I continue to write every day and would be pleased to collaborate with any Country Artist interested.
Brooks & Dunn, Neil Mccoy, Hank Jr., Garth Brooks, George Strait
Hank Williams, Boxcar Willie, Louis Armstrong, Barry White, The Beatles, ZZ Top, Ray Charles and many many others. ( I love all great music)
Tony began writing music back in the early 80’s while out on the road as a Pro Wrestler. After injury forced him out of that sport, he decided that the only way he could ever feel the rush of performing in front of 20,000 screaming fans again would be through his music. It can best be described as a combination of Honky Tonk Country and Country Rock with a little touch of R&B. He packs his lyrics with feeling. He paints pictures that will make you smile, laugh, feel joy or deep sorrow. He has a unique perspective on the complex relationships between men and women, love and friendship. His music is real and has a pleasing simplicity about it.
Tony is always working hard to improve his act and he performs every chance he gets. He knows how to draw emotion out of his listeners and you'll walk away from his show knowing you really got your money’s worth. He puts it all out there giving 100%. Tony has taken considerable time honing his music and refining his lyrics. The time has come for him to take it to the next level. He is actively looking to market himself and his music. All things are possible thru Jesus.
Side note: Tony is one of the top Bagpipers in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Syria Shrine Highlanders. They march to raise money so children can walk. All donations go to Shriner's Hospitals for Children. Tony has played Bagpipes as a Studio Musician on several projects and is available as needed.
