Terry Ray Thomas was born near Beattyville, Kentucky. Growing up on a farm in rural Kentucky he was introduced to Bluegrass and Gospel music at an early age. When the family moved to Southeastern Indiana in the mid 1960Â's his roots were already established. Coming of age through the 1970Â's and his expanding musical interests played an important role in developing the sound and music he now plays. Terry has a unique gift for writing songs and he recognizes it as a gift. His sound may be described as "Classic Country with a modern feel".
