Tammy Allen is shaking it up in Atlanta's Jazz scene. She one of the cities most popular vocalists. Ms. Allen performs at the best clubs in the city, Churchill Grounds, The Jazz Loft and Cafe 290. Audiences love her unique mix of original, standard and contemporary jazz. Onstage, her powerful vocals wow her audience, but it is her energy and warmth that brings them to their feet. She currently teaches voice privately and is owner operator of Big House Studio's.
Tammy Allen is creating new opportunites for other artists as well. She is the creator and promoter of Atlanta's Future of Jazz Competition.
She recently collaborated with NARAS to bring to the ciity industry insiders for a Future of Jazz panel that was held in conjunction with the final round of competition at the Rialto Theatre. Atlanta's Jazz Festival will sponsor the next series.

Vocalist Tammy Allen is creating a stir in Atlanta’s Jazz scene.
Her 3rd release Wonderful To Be is receiving airplay and rave reviews on local stations WRFG, WCLK and WRFG. Ms. Allen performs at the finest venues in the city. Ms.Allen recently opened for Ragina Belle. She appreared on Fox 5's Good Day Atlanta, to promote a benefit concert for Doctor's Without Border's she produced at EarthLink Live.

Tammy Allen is creating opportunities for other artists. She is the founder of Atlanta's Future of Jazz Competition. She collaborated with NARAS to bring to the city an Industry Insider’s Panel. Tammy and the finalists opened the show for jazz legend, Lonnie Liston Smith at The Rialto. Tammy Allen received an award signed by Mayor Shirley Franklin for her efforts May 2005. A Future of Jazz Compilation CD is in the works as well as plans for a Future of Jazz Tour.

Ms. Allen is well known and admired for her talent, and for bringing the community together.

Tammy Allen has been writing, recording and producing emerging artists for the past three years. She does everything from producing R & B tracks to playing guitar to write country and rock songs for her students. Tammy loves the opportunity to explore and create in so many different genre's.
