Wait on the Lord

Lyrics

Wait on the Lord
©, Susan H. Wood, 2006

When doubt is in your mind
When peace you cannot find
The path is dark
Your heart filled with despair

If you?ll lift your eyes to Him
Open up and let Him in
He?ll show that
Your burdens He will bear

Chorus:
In the dark places hold on
When you?re feeling like your strength is gone
Put your trust in him
That?s where faith begins

When you?re feeling like you can?t go on
When your mind can?t rest, your nights are long
Give it all to Him
Remember He?s a friend

Just let it go
And wait on the Lord

Oh I waited on the Lord
And he opened up the door
To paths I never knew
Waited there

On this journey I will go
Where it leads I do not know
I trust my God
I know I?m in His care

Chorus:
In the dark places hold on
When you?re feeling like your strength is gone
Put your trust in him
That?s where faith begins

When you?re feeling like you can?t go on
When your mind can?t rest, your nights are long
Give it all to Him
Remember He?s a friend

Just let it go
And wait on the Lord

BRIDGE

In the dark places hold on
When you?re feeling like your strength is gone
Put your trust in him
That?s where faith begins

When you?re feeling like you can?t go on
When your mind can?t rest, your nights are long
Give it all to Him
Remember He?s a friend

Just let it go
And wait on the Lord

In the dark places hold on
When you?re feeling like your strength is gone
Put your trust in him
That?s where faith begins

When you?re feeling like you can?t go on
When your mind can?t rest, your nights are long
Give it all to Him
Remember He?s a friend

Just let it go
And wait on the Lord

When you?re feeling like you can?t go on
When your mind can?t rest, your nights are long
Give it all to Him
Remember He?s a friend

Just let it go
And wait on the Lord
