Shades of The Beatles....very interesting song. I loved the arrangement. The vocal effect was perfect for what you trying to do here. The choice of instruments were interesting and unique and that is a GOOD thing. Lyrics are simple and to the point. Nice clean recording. Thanks for sharing. This song has great potential as a stand-alone song on an album and as a song for licensing. It is a great song to helped to start my day.
Nice use of strings in this song. Love the instrumental transition each time from the verse to the chorus (I'm calling chorus the "That's your call" part of song) and love how there's that extra measure of what you're doing instrumentally before you sing "That's your call."
Also love the overall feeling of the song - the mood of it. The effects chosen for the vocals contribute to that, as do the strings and guitar. Also like the way the strings end it.
This song has a lot going for it.
A bittersweet song, the monotone parts of the music that plays with the lyrics is excellent background for the sadness of the words. The music between the vocals is innovative and stirring and interesting. The voice is sad and mellow and very pleasant. A small, intimate song with much feeling held back.

Nice song arrangement. I quite like the transitions from verse to chorus to verse. The guitar matches the drum groove really well. The instruments are nicely laid out in the mix giving it a good level of clarity.

Very interesting song with a most unusual arrangement. This song does a wonderful job of creating a mood in the listener. The lyrics paint a vivid picture in so few words with a solid rhyme structure. I love the blend of the cello and acoustic guitar. Instrumental performances and the quality of the mix are great. This reminds me of the Beatles. Is that you, Lawrence? Great job.

The ideas were very clearly presented in this song...lost love. Not a new subject, and a hard one to be original in. Some of your lyrical concepts were more original than others (it's your call). "Found someone new" is rather trite, as is "beating heart and true." However I really liked your instrumentation, especially the cello and the recurring theme brought up the evaluation on hook. The percussion is a nice touch and the strings coming in were good, too. Vocals clear and easy to understand.
Good choice of instrument voices, blended well together. I particularly liked listening to the vocals as you moved through the chord progressions. This sound gives me a feeling I've heard it before....well done :)
