Story Behind The Song

I wrote this tune when i came back from Amsterdam with my ex-girlfriend. As much as I loved her, I knew we wouldn't make it very long after we returned from the trip. We had changed a lot in the past year and we wanted different things. This was our last adventure in love and I knew I would always look back upon this trip as being a special one. We were young--we were free--we were stoned. In Amsterdam--we felt like we were the king and queens of our own little playground. There was nothing to stand in our way of having the time of our lives.

This is a song about living in the moment with love. Inspired by a personal adventure, this song reflects feelings of being in love, of being free, and of being young.
