Story Behind The Song
I often see some of the friends I was close to years ago, and take pride in the success some achieved , but found myself needing to express, or try to anyhow one special night when our musician friends and our families met in a park, roasted hot dogs, watched the moon rise and the fire fly's, and sang for each other, it was a very special time, something that shouldn't be forgotten.
Song Description
Remembering a magical sort of night when musician friends are gathered around a campfire an shared our latest songs, it seemed a once in a lifetime event because they were all so talented and some went on to be quite successful. But it is a fact that the feelings and attitudes at the point we were at then, did change as success was no longer just a dream for some, though it was not unexpected because you just know when its in the cards, and the times together were good, good memories.

Lyrics
Vs. You know it seems an age ago, we called each other friend,
And I smile just remembering, the things we did back then.
We'd gather 'round a campfire, and we'd all play and sing,
"Guitars beneath the Stars" seemed just the most amazing thing....
Vs. We didn't realize how quickly, time would fly or when,
We'd start to drift apart said we'd be friends until the end,
But we all have a destiny and had to move along,
So, "Guitars beneath the Stars" had come and gone.
Chorus:
"Guitars beneath the Stars", each word and melody,
Rising up into the night, a moonlight symphony,
And we would tell our stories, in the lyrics of a song...
But "Guitars beneath the stars had come and gone,
"Guitars beneath the stars" had come and gone.
Vs. It's Funny how a memory, can take you back to where,
You find yourself there with your friends, with hopes and dreams to share,
But as the firelight faded, and by the break of dawn....
Those "Guitars beneath the stars" had come and gone...
"Guitars beneath the Stars had come and gone.
(Repeat Chorus)
