Story Behind The Song
Song was begun by Mike McMahon after his Uncle's funeral. After a half-assed eulogy left Mike feeling like everyone missed the point of this man's simple yet meaningful life, Mike started this tune. Ned stepped in years later and together they finished it. (sniff, sniff)

Lyrics
Everybody?s nobody somewhere.
It?s a great big world and it don?t care if you sink or swim.
It doesn?t matter you?re so small.
Nobody?s everything all the time.
They?ll try to tell you you?re out of line, but they don?t know.
You know it matters when you?re small?
?Cause you?re a Superstar
No matter how small you think that you are.
Yeah, you?re a Superstar
When you shine in your life
You burn so bright
In the sky
When you?re feelin? worthless and lowdown
Your beat up car won?t make it downtown, and it breaks you heart.
You?re sick and tired of being small.
They can say that you?re going nowhere.
You?re way down here and they?re way up there, but they don?t see
There?s no such thing as being small
?Cause you?re a Superstar
No matter how small you think that you are.
Yeah, you?re a Superstar
When you shine in your life
You burn so bright
In the sky
