Formed in 1998, Reason For Leaving began as a "Funk-Rock-Reggae" band, and has progressed towards heavier rock, while still maintaining the original essence. Their music has been compared in reviews to established groups such as P-Funk, Sublime, Black Uhuru, Big Brother and the Holding Co., Boz Skaggs, and James Brown.
