Ray has been playing music professionally since 1963. He had opened for many big named bands in the early to mid 70's as the LEad Vocalist for The Divots, and is now in the contemporary christian genre. He has been a worship leader and director of worship since 1989.

He has been writing contemporary christian music for many years. His music and lyrics are inspired by God to Glorify God and God alone.

Ray is comfortable writing in just about any style from ballads to pop to rock as has been evidenced by his music. "Cover Me" is a more rock/pop venue while "In The Silence" is more meditative, and "All We Can Do Is Pray" is leaning more towards a ballad piece.

It is Rays prayer that his music moves the person listening into a deeper relationship with God through worship.
