I started out as a songwriter and keyboard player signed to Charisma Records in the 70s. Joined the British rock band Charlie and made five albums and the odd hit single with them as keyboardist, co-producer and co-writer. After a spell as Musical Director in theater in Los Angeles I joined an LA Top 40 band (great training!) before resuming international touring and recording with Alan Parsons, Yes/ABWH, and Steve Hackett, with whom I recorded 10 albums and co-wrote a number of tracks. Worked on The Art & Science Of Sound Recording video series with Alan Parsons and continue to write and record, in 2021 arranging and producing the soundtrack album for Equinox The Musical and writing and recording an Alan Parsons-produced track with American Idol singer James Durbin called Give 'Em My Love.
