Detroit Singer/Songwriter Pat Predd brings to the party a tasteful mix of pop/rock music influences.
Think of a John Mayer/Gavin DeGraw blend of melodies, harmonies, and instrumentation.
Lyrics that are "simple...focused...believable...with plenty of images and details".
Lyrics dispensed with "excellent" pop vocal chops with creative melodies and harmonies.
As one industry pro put it, Predd as a pop singer/songwriter is "very talented" and "solid on all levels".
Take a look around. Decide for yourself.
Predd's pop-rock roots started early. Piano lessons at an early age fostered a knack for chord structure and harmonies that blossomed as a teen when he first stumbled upon an acoustic guitar. Several high school rock bands and a deep desire to study music conflicted with a decision to pursue a "professional" career and a 4 year degree ensued. The songwriting bug continued to fester as an adult.
The resulting journey is chronicled here.
Predd's texture of pop and rock influences give birth to a blend of melodies, harmonies, and instrumentation with wide appeal. His singer/songwriter style delivers verses that are both melodically and lyrically engaging, building to catchy, often soaring choruses.
Enough with the noise. Listen to the music. Decide for yourself.
