Paul Rodgers hand-picked Christian to be the opening act for the Bad Company "Live 2002 CD/DVD" U.S. Tour. This, in addition to his impressive song catalog ( he has held onto his rights), his dedication to improving his performance skills while continuing to raise the level on all aspects of his career, has prepared Christian for a very long and prosperous career in the music entertainment field.
Much hard work combined with natural talent has brought him to the place most only sit and dream about. Many exciting things happening here...keep watching!

Bio
26-year-old artist, Christian Turner, is "old school". An avid student of 1960's Memphis & Motown sounds, Turner draws on his influences to forge a wonderfully unique sound that is all his own. He began writing in 1997, after choosing to walk away from a potential baseball career. "It was, at first, a difficult decision", says Turner, "but it became apparent this is what I was put here to do." In fact, Turner has been around music his entire life. "My parents made it VERY easy for me to fall in love with music. As long as I can remember, it's been a mainstay in my life." Christian's father, Steve (Papa T) , is an accomplished guitarist, who opened for the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd, R.E.O. Speedwagon, and Sly & The Family Stone in the 1970's. "Music fills up my gene pool", says Christian. With that ground-work having been laid, it's easy to understand why Christian chose this road. A key figure in Christian's ascent has been Free & Bad Company vocalist Paul Rodgers. "To me, you just don't get any better than Paul Rodgers & Otis Redding. In fact, Paul & I both share a love of Otis & his music. We feel like we come from the same place, like we come from the same kind of soul." While Rodgers has long been a musical hero to Christian, it was taken to another level when Rodgers befriended Christian in late 1998. "We had our first meeting & I was unbelievably nervous! God-willing, Paul saw something in me that made a positive impact on him. He's like my Godfather now!
