My songs are filled with emotion. They might make you smile or reminisce. It is like when you are living your daily life and then you get a feeling of vivid memory or a moment of clarity about what's important in life, that's where my songs come from. Those memories that are sometimes so strong that they tear at your heart and fill it up at the same time. Fans often come up to me after I play a show and tell me how they connected with a certain song.
Chuck Potts sings with me on my recently released CD, titled Freedom Machine. There are ten original songs on the album and I’ve been getting great feedback about them.
I am also so grateful for the opportunity to write and perform music so a portion of everything that I earn goes to Canyonview Camp and Children of the Nations International which helps orphaned children overseas. Life is meant to be lived with an open hand I reckon. My music should always be helping others.

I don't know how I would be able to think if I didn't play the guitar and write music. It is so central to who I am I can't imagine life without life without these aspects. Songwriting keeps me more in tune to the world around me. I have become more aware of different aspects of life and these observations are the seeds of my songs.
I live in Salem, Oregon and enjoy playing music around the Salem, Portland, and the Willamette Valley area. I value the connections that I am able to make with music fans in the smaller, more personal venues. As a songwriter, I am passionate about creating something new and communicating with the listener in a different way. One of the greatest joys is when someone tells me how they connected with a certain song. It is a daunting and fantastic challenge and I love it.
I hope that my music makes you smile. I hope it brings up a fond memory in your life. I hope it makes you want to live your life the way you want to. Thanks for listening.
