The release of his album SLOWLY DIABOLICAL was very well received last month and now it has been nominated for INDEPENDENT ROCK RECORD OF THE YEAR AND BEST MALE VOCAL PERFORMANCE at the 18th annual 2008 Los Angeles Music Awards.

About Kris:
Billy Joel once expressed, "I think music in itself is healing. It's an explosive expression of humanity. It's something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we're from, everyone loves music." This is perhaps the most apt description of London's hottest demiurgic indie tenor pop singer/songwriter/keyboards/guitar player Kris Searle.
Prior to the much-anticipated debut release of his CD, "Slowly Diabolical " a much-publicized CD scheduled for launch in February 2008. Kris Searle made the decision to connect with a brilliant and solid industry team in Los Angeles and Is now charming audiences with his wistful yet dynamic stage persona. Remarkably, his brutally honest approach to his lyrics, ardent vocals and genuine charisma transfer directly to this prodigious artist's way of life.

The youngest soprano with Britain's 'Kent South Singers', at age 11, and 13, winning a solo singing competition at London's' Festival Royal Hall, Kris Searle's formative years were immersed in piano and drum lessons. Growing up in Whitstable, England in an idyllic, supportive environment, with musical talent prominent in his genetic code, one can honestly say that talent flows through his veins and into every effort this erudite and sensitive performer creates. Early on, Searle was inspired by the utopian films and ebullient stories of his childhood. Enchanting his family, he would accompany himself with instinctively melodic vocal and keyboard arrangements.
Later Influenced by singers Joshua Kadison, James Morrison and Snow Patrol, with seminal 80's bands like The Pretenders and Mister Mister, by 19, Kris wrote the inauspicious "Outside," later his signature entrance into England's Invicta FM Radio's 'Pepsi Chart Search for a Star' competition securing runner-up position of more than 1,000 entrants. "I'm sure Invicta FM would like to take some of the credit for Kris's discovery following his appearance in our 'Search for a Star' competition," says Nicola Everett of Invicta Radio, who affirms the universal appeal of Searle's talent.
An endorsement deal with Samick Guitars brought Searle a new Greg Bennett-designed guitar and keyboard, sweetening Searle's decision to record in Los Angeles, California. Bennett believes his guitars are a perfect match with what he calls Searle's "honest and introspective songs from the heart, a voice from the soul, and a sound that appeals to a broad audience." With rave reviews from England's Attitude magazine (commenting, "His music projects raw emotion, a refreshing break from all the futile pap that fills much of today's pop charts.") songs featured on Sirius Radio and appearances on BBC Radio 1 featuring his fervid tune "Your Divide", (a heartfelt and emotive response to the complexities of relationships in the 21st century), with BBC Kent's "Demo of The Week", there is no shortage of attention and anticipation for this bright light in a dark world.

Kris Searle is one entertainer who knows how to reach the most jaded of souls with his intrinsic ability to write songs that draw from life experience, his primary muse, including a few ill-fated romances fueling his emotions in songs such as *"Honestly" (*now beautifully remixed at Los Angeles' Dino Maddalone Studios.) His latest coup d'tat was a well-attended listening release party hosting to such notables as, Julian Reyes, Channel 7, incendiary guitarist Gregg Wright, and Peter Montoya of KFWB Radio, Los Angeles. Searle has the visage, the talent, a polished and professional attitude, with that rare quality that cannot be 'bought' nor 'created', an odylic force. Kris Searle is the consummate artist of the new millennium.
