Joshua Brande (pronounced, Brandy) is an American living in Ireland. He has been influenced by a wide range of acoustic singer/songwriters, of the '60's onward. Most notably the literate, poetic writers of that era. His songs are personal but not always autobiographical.

Joshua writes songs that allow the listener to have a new or renewed experience within the song. Songs that have an "oh yeah, I know what that's about," a "been there, done that, or know someone who has", kind of feeling to them.

If Josjua can say it in a poetic and less predictable way, wthout being overly "heady" and difficult, he doesn't think it'sa bad thing.

The songs contained here are self recorded, live and without much production add-ons and enhancements. They're raw and real.
