JOHN MASINO, Former CBS recording artist, guitarist extraordinaire, writer, producer, has been performing for most of his life...
In May 2013, John performed with the UW Varsity Band (Spring Concert) for approximately 30,000 people in 3 nights at The Kohl Center in Madison WI. The shows aired on PBS and can be seen on You tube.

He was the Madison Area Music Awards 2010 winner for Best Guitarist and also won Guitar Center's 2011 King of the Blues Contests in Madison, WI and Minneapolis, MN. A member of many popular Midwest bands including Baby Fat, Chunky Pie, Punch, Hi-Fi, Powerplay, Masino, The Rage, Neptune, Trinity James, ,Clear Blue Betty, and City Electric. He was featured on the 1980 CBS Nemperor Records release Gregg Clemons. John has opened shows for John Mellencamp, The Tubes, Head East, Cheap Trick, Blue Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot, Foghat, Savoy Brown, Mountain, Kenny Wayne Sheppard and guitar legends Rick Derringer and Robin Trower. In the early 80s John was a session musician in New York City recording with Jon Taylor, Mark Kaufman, Susie Kirschner and many others. He frequented jam sessions in Greenwich Village and was a semifinalist in The 1999 Memphis Jimi Hendrix Electric Guitar Competition. BBB Films has just released a movie about John's 70's band PUNCH.

John is currently recording a 3rd album for 2020-2021 at his Sound Wave Studio in Middleton, Wisconsin.
